The main objective of this World Koi Federation is “the global development of the Koi industry”. Depending on the interpretation, this could lead to Nishikigoi being considered as a business priority. In this case it would be in conflict with the basic objectives and statutes of Zen Nippon Airinkai. Zen Nippon Airinkai as an association does not participate in this Koi Federation at this time. Therefore, The World Koi Federation cannot use the name of Zen Nippon Airinkai in its promotional activities.
We have no strong objection to our members individually joining the Federation, but if their activities are closely related to the Koi business, it can be a problem, especially if they have the ZNA Judge status.
As you know, Zen Nippon Airinkai is an association that promotes Koi culture from the hobbyist’s perspective. When the Federation carries out Nishikigoi activities specifically for cultural purposes in the future, Zen Nippon Airinkai may cooperate with them.
